Another Pair for the Christmas Stash
These took ages to knit - mainly because the yarn was really coarse and not enjoyable at all to work with. Can't remember the brand name now, but I'd remember the texture. I'm hoping they'll soften up once washed.

Santa Fe Sock
Colour: #675
Needles: 2.0 mm
Start: January 15, 2008
Finish: February 22, 2008
I call these socks "Santa Fe" for two reasons. 1) the colours remind me of the South West, and 2) I made them for my dear friend Karen who has a home in Santa Fe. These were a lot of fun to make.

Let It Snow!
Milano's
It's been snowing since last night, but that didn't stop us from seeking out a great place to have brunch on this beautiful Sunday morning. Milano's on Chebucto Road serves brunch now - and it was well worth trudging through the snow for. The Chef's specialty today was a delicious lobster, asparagus and brie fritatta, with oven roasted potatoes and a beautiful salad of greens, carmelized onions, cranberries and a sprinkling of nuts - drizzled in a warm balsamic vinaigrette. Yum! It was a perfect start to the day.

February Sweater
Source: Knitters Almanac (February Pattern)
Materials: Alpaca Cashmere Tweed by Estelle (worsted weight)
Needles: US7/4.5mm
Start Date: December 12, 2007
Finish Date: January 6, 2008
This little cutie was made for Hilllary and Chris' new baby Sophia. The first baby sweater I've made in a very long time. Although EZs instructions are quite vague, I was able to work out the kinks along the way and I'm very pleased with the results.
