The New Baby

This is Sophie. She's the newest addition to my sister's family. Sophie is a Golden Doodle - a cross between a Golden Lab and a Standard Poodle. Isn't she just adorable?

Being self-employed eats up a lot of time and energy, and being a Holistic Nutritional Consultant means I have to look after myself physically and emotionally. I'm always striving to bring more balance to my life. I created this blog to help make that happen. My Dad taught me to knit and play the accordion when I was ten years old - and although instructions for both were very basic, and my first few projects and tunes were pretty scarey, I was inspired to practice and improve - well... with the knitting anyway. I'm always up for a challenge and over the years I've knit everything from mittens and socks, to detailed sweaters and lace. Knitting, more so than accordion music gives me such a sense of calm. It's truly meditative for me. Thank you Dad!
